Job summary

Department of Justice in Victoria is seeking a Learning and Capability Consultant (Tobacco) to design and deliver training for Tobacco Licensing Victoria. You will help staff build the skills to license tobacco businesses and enforce the law.

You will plan onboarding for new staff, create engaging courses using online tools and activities, and coordinate with external providers to ensure training meets needs. This fixed-term, full-time role offers a competitive salary and super.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is highly desired.
• Experience in education, human resources or training and development is desirable.
• Experience creating learning programs and onboarding for a business or initiative.
• Strong instructional design skills and ability to use online learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver clear, practical training, including onboarding for new staff.
• Work with the team to identify learning needs and create training materials.
• Design engaging courses using online tools, videos, role-plays and other activities.
• Coordinate training with external providers and ensure it meets staff needs.
• Review course results, assess learning and improve materials and delivery.
