Job summary

Rexel is seeking a commercially minded Territory Sales Manager to own and grow the Rockhampton territory, building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities that drive sales and margin.

You will work with customers, suppliers, branch teams and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and outstanding service, with a proactive, energetic approach to hunting new business and protecting existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in BDM, account management or territory sales.
• Track record of achieving sales and margin targets.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a territory effectively.
• Experience in electrical wholesaling, trades, building, construction or related commercial environment highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales across the Rockhampton territory and surrounds.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, branch teams and other key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term accounts.
• Prepare tailored sales proposals, presentations and solutions.
• Drive margin growth as well as revenue.
• Use CRM as the central source of customer information and activity.
• Promote Rexel’s multi-channel offering, including branch, webstore, email and phone.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
