Job summary

Rexel Australia is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover the Keilor Park and Brooklyn regions. This field-based, customer-facing role focuses on growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities while delivering a consistent customer experience.

You will visit customers regularly, collaborate with branch teams, and connect clients with the right products and technical solutions to meet their needs and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, account management, territory sales or a related customer-facing role.
• Confidence engaging with a broad range of customers and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to identifying and following up on opportunities.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with branch and specialist teams.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Proactively identify opportunities to support customer growth and develop new business.
• Visit customers regularly to understand their needs, projects and challenges.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts and develop plans to strengthen customer engagement and share of wallet.
• Partner with the Keilor Park and Brooklyn branch teams to provide responsive, seamless service.
• Connect customers with the right products, services, technical expertise and supplier solutions.
• Keep informed of local market activity, customer projects and emerging opportunities.
• Contribute to sales, margin and customer-growth goals across the territory.
