Job summary

Rexel Australia is seeking a commercially minded Territory Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to own and grow our Rockhampton territory. You will build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities and drive both sales and margin growth across the region.

You’ll work with customers, suppliers, branch teams and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Driven sales professional with a strong commercial mindset and relationship focus.
• Experience in BDM, account management or territory sales.
• Track record of achieving sales and margin targets.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a territory.
• Experience in electrical wholesaling, trades or construction highly regarded.
• Current, clean driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales across the Rockhampton territory and surrounds.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, branch teams and other key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term accounts.
• Prepare tailored sales proposals, presentations and solutions.
• Drive margin growth as well as revenue.
• Use CRM as the central source of customer information and activity.
• Promote Rexel’s multi-channel offering, including branch, webstore, email and phone.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
