Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company is seeking a motivated Graduate Territory Manager to join the team in Melbourne. Based in Western Melbourne, you will build and manage relationships with diverse customers across a defined territory.

This 12-month contract role is ideal for a recent graduate ready to kick-start a career in FMCG. You will operate autonomously with support from an experienced management team, gaining insights into the fast-paced consumer goods industry and developing sales and negotiation

• You will receive an iPad and company car; participate in induction and training to kickstart your career.

Title: Territory Manager - VIC

Location: Melbourne, Australia

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Graduate Territory Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing business relationships within a designated territory based out of Western Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate (or nearly graduated student) looking to kick start their career. Note this is a 12 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for developing a range of diverse customers through your ability to build and maintain strong relationships and to influence key partners.

• Managing your own territory autonomously day to day, you will be supported by an experienced management team and will also maintain close contact with your peer network. Develop your insights and experience into the competitive Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry by:

• Using category insights to increase share of space in-store and optimise ranging of our products on the supermarket shelf

• Selling permanent and temporary displays into all customers

• Ensuring efficient coverage of your entire store network

• All of the tools required to succeed will be provided, for example an iPad and fully maintained company car. You will be part of a comprehensive induction and training program.Many of our Customer Development/Sales team began their careers as a Graduate Territory Manager, we are proud to say that many have gone on to become Colgate-Palmolive executive leaders all around the globe across various functions.
