Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a motivated graduate to join as Territory Manager for Melbourne West on a 12‑month contract. You will manage and grow relationships within a Western Melbourne territory, developing business with key retailers.

You will use insights to improve shelf space, Drive displays, and ensure full store coverage. A recent graduate with energy and ambition will thrive in Colgate’s global consumer goods environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse customer base within the designated territory.
• Autonomously manage your territory daily with support from a local management team.

• Sell permanent and temporary in-store displays and ensure efficient coverage of all stores.

Title: Territory Manager - VIC

Location: Melbourne, Australia

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Graduate Territory Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing business relationships within a designated territory based out of Western Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate (or nearly graduated student) looking to kick start their career. Note this is a 12 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for developing a range of diverse customers through your ability to build and maintain strong relationships and to influence key partners.

Managing your own territory autonomously day to day, you will be supported by an experienced management team and will also maintain close contact with your peer network. Develop your insights and experience into the competitive Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry by:

• Using category insights to increase share of space in-store and optimise ranging of our products on the supermarket shelf
• Selling permanent and temporary displays into all customers
• Ensuring efficient coverage of your entire store network

All of the tools required to succeed will be provided, for example an iPad and fully maintained company car. You will be part of a comprehensive induction and training program.Many of our Customer Development/Sales team began their careers as a Graduate Territory Manager, we are proud to say that many have gone on to become Colgate-Palmolive executive leaders all around the globe across various functions.
