Job summary

Metropolitan Hydraulic Services is seeking a proactive B2B sales professional to own and grow a large hydraulics territory across Sydney, Hunter and Mudgee. You will manage existing accounts, prospect new customers and coordinate with our training and operations teams to deliver value.

You will drive the full sales cycle from initial contact through to pricing coordination, quotes and follow-up, with regular travel across NSW. A track record in industrial sales and a valid licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Track record of opening new accounts that had not previously bought from your company.
• Industrial, mechanical or technical B2B sales experience.
• A licence and willingness to cover the territory properly.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customers, lapsed accounts and those quoted but not converted.
• Identify other hydraulics users across the territory and map openings.
• Prospect new customers via cold, warm or referal leads.
• Scope problems thoroughly and route quotes to pricing.
• Follow up on quotes, POs and previously silent customers; drive revenue.
• Open training conversations and coordinate with our training/operations teams.
• Cover Sydney regularly, plus Hunter and Mudgee; occasional nights away.
