Job summary

HYDAC Australia invites a Sales Engineer to join our Sydney branch. You will be the technical conduit between customers and internal teams, delivering expert guidance on hydraulic and motion-control solutions, preparing competitive quotes, and managing orders from start to finish.

In this role you’ll support Sales Engineers, interpret technical requirements, and promote value-added products while nurturing long-term customer relationships and collaborating with engineering, service and logistics

Qualifications

Trade qualification or tertiary degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
Strong technical understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and motion-control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries with technical advice.
Prepare accurate quotations aligned with customer requirements and objectives.
Manage orders from quotation through to fulfilment with accurate product data.
Support External Sales Engineers with product selection and proposals.
Act as a trusted technical advisor for application requirements and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Engineering, Service, Logistics, Operations and Warehouse teams.
