Job summary

Sydney Tools is expanding and seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of the Orange and Central West NSW region. This field-based role offers autonomy, relationship building with new and existing customers, and the chance to contribute to national growth.

You’ll report to the National Field Sales Manager and drive territory growth through proactive prospecting, strategic partnerships and effective account management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, external sales or account management.
• Strong skills in building relationships and closing new business.
• Able to manage a regional territory and deliver growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach and secure new commercial customers across the territory.
• Strengthen existing relationships and grow customer accounts.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase market presence and revenue.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, site visits and follow-ups.
• Pursue commercial projects, tenders and strategic supply opportunities.
• Manage sales pipeline and CRM activity to drive results.
• Collaborate with Sydney Tools stores and the national sales team.
