Job summary

Genuine Parts Company, via the NAPA brand, seeks a Customer Development Manager to drive sales and build strong customer relationships across a defined Sydney territory. Reporting to a Channel Manager, you will focus on achieving sales and gross margin targets while collaborating with branch managers.

You will engage with trade customers, participate in events, and promote continuous improvement, safety and product knowledge to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• An engaging, strong communicator with sound negotiating skills.
• Solutions and service oriented with account management or business development experience.
• Sales or customer management experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solve customer problems through consultation and relationship building.
• Responsible for sales and gross margin performance of your territory.
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions.
• Achieve sales budgets and develop new business.
• Foster a culture of safety and promote safe driving behaviours.
