Define Talent is seeking an experienced field sales professional for a private Australian timber decorative building products manufacturer. The role is field and home-based, with travel to workshops and attendance at trade events essential.

You will manage a broad account portfolio, seek growth, and build strong relationships with business owners and factory managers across a large territory. A strong sales track record and CRM skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, territory sales or business development in building materials.
• Technical knowledge of timber and decorative panel products preferred.
• Record of achieving sales targets and profitable account growth.
• Strong pricing, margins, forecasting and customer value awareness.
• Current Australian driver licence.

Responsabilités

• Manage and prioritise an established portfolio of accounts.
• Grow revenue and margin through existing-account development and new business.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders such as business owners and factory managers.
• Present products, promotions and practical sales guidance to customers.
• Re-engage inactive accounts and identify new opportunities across the territory.
• Monitor pricing, margins, profitability, forecasts and sales performance.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular territory and pipeline reporting.
