Britton Timbers, a long-established Tasmanian business and one of Australia’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of timber and hardwood products, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales across Tasmania and key mainland markets.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage major customer relationships, support regional sales teams and identify opportunities to grow sales across existing and new markets.

Qualifications

• Senior sales, business development or account management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, timber, building products, construction supply or another technical sector.
• Willingness to undertake regular inter-state travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead sales activity across Tasmania and mainland Australia.
• Manage major and national customer relationships.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Support branch managers and account managers across the national network.
• Work with production teams to align customer demand, stock and production capacity.
• Maintain oversight of market activity, pricing and customer requirements.
• Resolve customer, product and supply issues promptly.
• Improve sales processes, market intelligence and reporting.
• Provide practical leadership across sales and customer service.
