Job summary

Melrose Built Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to keep the tender process organized and moving. You will coordinate tender documentation, manage subcontractor enquiries, track quotations and help prepare complete submissions.

This role suits someone who takes pride in accuracy, follows through on commitments and asks questions early to prevent issues. Proactive, detail‑oriented candidates with experience in construction administration are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction administration, tender coordination or estimating support.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Attention to detail in document revisions, dates and quotation information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; estimating or document management software is a plus.
• Understanding of construction trades or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tender register with opportunities, dates, milestones and progress.
• Set up tender folders and manage drawings, specs, schedules and revisions.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers with clear scopes and due dates.
• Follow up invitations and quotations, track coverage and escalate gaps.
• Maintain an accurate subcontractor and supplier database with capabilities and contacts.
• Coordinate tender queries, information requests and addenda.
• Assist estimators with quote comparisons and identify missing information.
• Coordinate site inspections, tender meetings and submission requirements.
