Job summary

Common Ground Queensland is seeking a Tenancy Manager to coordinate client-focused tenancy services and oversee daily tenancy management across CGQ housing. You will maintain strong relationships with CGQ teams, tenants and support providers to drive positive outcomes, while upholding safety standards.

The role requires substantial tenancy management experience, knowledge of the CGQ model, and strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated tenancy management experience using Console Property and Tenancy Management system (or similar).
• Understanding of CGQ tenancy management model and approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Excellent dispute resolution skills.
• High degree of initiative and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical ability.
• Confidence and skill in using information technology systems.
• Knowledge of RTA legislation.
• Driver's licence held and up to date.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle for work travel; mileage reimbursed per SCHADS Award.
• Experience partnering with specialist homeless support services.
• Tertiary qualifications in Tenancy Management and related policy experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver a client-focused tenancy service for current and prospective CGQ tenants.
• Oversee day-to-day management of residential tenancies across CGQ housing.
• Maintain effective relationships with CGQ team members, tenants and support providers to achieve positive tenant outcomes.
