Job summary

Uniting Vic.Tas is seeking an experienced tenancy or property management professional to manage a portfolio of community housing properties and deliver high-quality tenancy and property management services. This hands-on role balances resident engagement, maintenance coordination, legislative compliance and tenancy management to achieve sustainable housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential property management or community housing.
• Strong knowledge of the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act.
• Experience handling breaches, arrears and complex resident issues.
• Ability to prepare and represent tenancy matters at VCAT.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of community housing tenancies and properties.
• Apply the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act in day-to-day practice.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with the Housing Maintenance Team.
• Conduct tenancy reviews, inspections and property visits.
• Manage rent arrears, breaches, neighbour disputes and complex matters.
• Prepare documentation and represent tenancy matters at VCAT.
• Build productive relationships with residents, support services and partners.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure legislative compliance.
