Salexo Consulting is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our Sydney team on a technical, project-based sales role. You will develop relationships, identify opportunities, provide product advice and support projects from specification through to completion.
You’ll engage with architects, fire engineers, building services engineers, builders and contractors, helping customers select the right systems and ensuring successful project outcomes across our fire-protection product range.
I’m working with an established specialist within the passive fire protection market looking to appoint a Technical Sales Representative to their Sydney team.
This is a technical, project-based sales role where you’ll be developing relationships, identifying opportunities, providing product advice and supporting projects from specification through to completion.
You’ll be involved in identifying projects, developing relationships, providing technical product advice, assisting with specifications and helping customers select the right systems for their projects.
You could be a Technical Sales Representative, BDM, Account Manager, Specification Manager, Sales Engineer or similar.
I’m particularly interested in people who understand technical products, construction and project-based sales and are comfortable having conversations with architects, engineers, builders and contractors.
A knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, fire-rated systems or construction documentation would be highly regarded.
That said, if you have strong technical building-product sales experience and are looking to move further into the fire sector, I’d also like to hear from you.
I’m David Hamilton, a Registered Architect (NSW Reg. No. 11571) who moved into specialist Architectural Sales Recruitment after more than 15 years working in architectural practice.
I now specialise in recruiting sales professionals across architecture, construction and building products.
My architectural background means I understand the difference between simply selling a product and being able to have a meaningful technical conversation with an architect, engineer, builder or contractor about how that product fits into a project.
If you’re currently working in fire, passive fire, construction products or another technical building-products sector and you’re interested in having a confidential conversation, get in touch.
