Job summary

Allianz Australia is seeking a Technical Lead for Workers Compensation in NSW to lead technical claims management and provide expert advice. You will coach Technical Specialists, collaborate with managers and stakeholders, and drive improvements in Guidewire/JADE platforms to ensure compliant and timely outcomes.

You will engage regulators and internal teams, guiding decisions with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in NSW workers compensation in a technical specialist or technical manager role.
• Experience liaising with regulators, customers and stakeholders on technical matters and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Specialists, Managers and business units to ensure effective claims management and timely claim resolution.
• Serve as primary escalation point for technical matters, providing advice to claims staff and employers.
• Develop and coach Technical Specialists and staff to strengthen knowledge and capability.
• Drive improvements across business systems (Guidewire and JADE) to enhance processes and user experience.
• Contribute to achieving team KPIs and value-adding initiatives.
