Job summary

Allianz Australia in Sydney (or Charlestown) seeks a Technical Lead for Workers Compensation to provide expert claims management and technical guidance. You will work with specialists, managers, and external regulators to ensure compliant, timely claim resolutions while coaching staff and driving system enhancements across Guidewire and JADE platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in NSW workers compensation in a technical specialist/manager role
• Experience liaising with regulators, customers and stakeholders on technical queries
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities to coach staff and drive improvements
• Ability to interpret legislation and ensure compliant claims management

Responsibilities

• Partner with specialists and managers to ensure effective claims management
• Act as primary escalation point for technical matters and regulatory interpretation
• Coach Technical Specialists and support staff to strengthen capabilities
• Drive improvements across Guidewire/JADE platforms and related processes
• Contribute to achieving team KPIs and service contracts
