Job summary

Yo-Chi in Hobart, Australia is seeking a Casual Team Leader to guide the front-of-house team through busy shifts and deliver warm, genuine service. You will coach staff, handle open/close duties, and help maintain food safety and operations while keeping guests smiling.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in hospitality or customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with positive energy.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the team through busy shifts with confidence, positivity and great energy.

Creating memorable guest experiences by delivering genuine, friendly service.

Opening and closing the venue, including cash handling and daily administrative tasks.

Keeping the venue clean, safe and running smoothly.

Ensuring every Yo-Chi served looks just as good as it tastes.

Managing stock, receiving deliveries and helping keep everything organised behind the scenes.

Maintaining our food safety, hygiene and operational standards every day.

What we're looking for:

Previous leadership experience in hospitality, retail or customer service.

Strong communication and organisational skills.
