Job summary

Yo-Chi is hiring a Casual Team Leader at our Adelaide location. You will guide the team through busy shifts, set standards on the floor and help create the fun, welcoming Yo-Chi experience customers expect.

If you love leading from the front and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we want to meet you. This role involves opening/closing the venue, cash handling, stock management and maintaining high food-safety standards while delivering memorable guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in hospitality, retail or customer service.
• Ability to motivate a team and bring positive energy on shift.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team through busy shifts with confidence and high energy.
• Deliver genuine, friendly service to create memorable guest experiences.
• Coach and support team members while leading by example.
• Open and close the venue, handle cash and daily admin tasks.
• Keep the venue clean, safe and running smoothly.
• Ensure every Yo-Chi served looks as good as it tastes.
• Manage stock, deliveries and back-of-house organisation.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and operational standards daily.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the team through busy shifts with confidence, positivity and great energy.
• Creating memorable guest experiences by delivering genuine, friendly service.
• Coaching and supporting team members while leading by example.
• Opening and closing the venue, including cash handling and daily administrative tasks.
• Keeping the venue clean, safe and running smoothly.
• Ensuring every Yo-Chi served looks just as good as it tastes.
• Managing stock, receiving deliveries and helping keep everything organised behind the scenes.
• Maintaining our food safety, hygiene and operational standards every day.

What we're looking for:

• Previous leadership experience in hospitality, retail or customer service.
• Someone who naturally motivates and brings positive energy to a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence making decisions and solving problems during a shift.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A genuine passion for people, teamwork and creating great experiences.
