Skilled Global Workforce is recruiting Chefs & Cooks for Hobart and St Helens, TAS. These hands-on roles require preparing high-quality meals, managing stock, and maintaining rigorous hygiene standards.

Successful candidates will have at least 1 year in prep and a la carte, trade qualifications, experience in fast-paced venues, and strong English communication. Roles are full-time with salaries between $75,000 and $95,000 AUD depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant prep and a la carte experience (Lunch & Dinner).
• Appropriate trade qualifications.
• Experience in fast-paced, service-focused venues.
• Guest-oriented and passionate about food.
• Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible.
• Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines.
• Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service.
• Assist the head chef in cost control and help meet budgeted targets.
• Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the brigade.
