Job summary

NEX Building Group is seeking a Systems Training Manager to design, implement, and manage training programs for enterprise systems including ERP, HRIS, CRM, and BIM-related tools. You will partner with vendors and SMEs to create effective content and drive end-user adoption.

You will deliver both in-person and virtual sessions, develop inductions, and report monthly on training effectiveness while aligning with project teams and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training, instructional design or system implementation.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and digital learning tools.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive systems training strategy aligned with system implementations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and SMEs to author content for training programs (D365, Businesscraft, Onsite Companion).
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training workshops and webinars; support inductions and monthly reporting on completions.

About the opportunity

The Systems Training Manager works closely with system SMEs, reports to the Group OD Manager and is part of the NEX L&D team. The key focus of this role designing, implementing, and managing training programs that ensure employees can effectively use our enterprise systems including ERP, HRIS, CRM, FMS, BIM and other business applications. More specifically, you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive systems training strategy aligned with system implementation and business objectives
  • Engage with system vendors and internal subject matter experts (on D365, Businesscraft, Onsite Companion etc.), leveraging the full range of features and capabilities, to author content for system training programs
  • Collaborate upfront with project teams during development and implementation
  • Identify training needs through stakeholder consultation and system usage analysis
  • Ensure content is clear, user-friendly, and tailored to different user groups
  • Facilitate in person and virtual training workshops and webinars
  • Build systems training for new starter inductions
  • Report monthly on completions and training effectiveness
About you

  • Degree in HR, IT, Education, or related field.
  • Experience in training, instructional design, or system implementation
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and digital learning tools
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Experience with one or more preferred IT domains (ERP, HRIS, CRM, Analytics, Security)
  • Strong eye for design, making complex training concepts come alive in a blended educational delivery model
