Job summary

NEX Building Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Handover Supervisor to join the team in the NSW Hunter region. The role involves visiting customers’ homes four days a week, inspecting new homes, documenting defects, and coordinating trade works to ensure high-quality handovers.

You will coordinate with clients, teams, and contractors, produce clear reports, and follow up on progress. A full driver’s license and strong customer service are essential for success in this field role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential construction or building services is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to regional sites.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect new homes across the Hunter region and document defects.
  • Prepare scope of works and reports for identified issues.
  • Communicate action plans with clients in line with warranty guidelines.
  • Monitor contractor progress and follow up outstanding works.

About the opportunity:

In this full time, you will be on the road 4 days a week visiting customers in their homes, assessing works and coordinating trade. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:



  • Conducting inspections of new homes located across the Hunter region

  • Compiling a report on any identified defects + plus put scope of works together

  • Communicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines

  • Assisting with the monitoring of contractor progress

  • Following up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as needed


About you:

  • Good computer and MS Office skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
