Recruit Career Consult has been exclusively engaged to conduct a confidential search for an experienced HR Coordinator to join a fast-growing ANZ retailer. This hands-on role requires an accomplished HR Generalist with 3–5 years' experience who can balance operational HR duties with advisory support to senior leadership.

Based in Sydney, you will manage employee relations, Australian employment legislation, workers' compensation, HR reporting, and HRIS initiatives while partnering with managers

Qualifikationen

• Retail HR experience essential and desirable in FMCG/retail environments.
• 3–5 years' experience in an HR Generalist capacity across payroll, ER, policies and compliance.
• Solid knowledge of Australian workplace legislation, Modern Awards and workplace compliance.
• Experience managing employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary processes and Fair Work dismissal claims.
• Strong HR reporting and data analysis capabilities; proficient in Excel.
• Experience with HRIS implementation or system improvements.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands and support the HR leader as 2IC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Aufgaben

• Managing employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances and Fair Work dismissal claims.
• Providing advice and support on Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, workplace policies and compliance obligations.
• Managing workers' compensation matters, including claims administration, stakeholder coordination and return-to-work processes.
• Supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee documentation, contracts, policies and procedures.
• Preparing HR reports, analysing workforce data and identifying trends to support business decisions.
• Maintaining accurate employee records, compliance documentation and HR systems.
• Supporting HRIS improvements, implementation projects and process efficiencies.
• Partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to provide practical, commercially considered HR recommendations.
• Supporting broader HR initiatives and organisational change as the business grows.
• Acting as a trusted second‑in‑command to the HR leader when required.
