Job summary

Local Personalised Services is hiring compassionate, reliable people to support NDIS participants across Fraser Coast, Gin Gin, North Burnett and Bundaberg. You will provide person-centred assistance, promote independence, and help participants achieve their goals.

We value teamwork, clear communication, and a commitment to quality care. Requirements include a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), First Aid/CPR, a current Driver's Licence, and a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support preferred.
• Knowledge of the NDIS desirable.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent preferred but not essential.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card are required or in progress.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing person-centred support based on individual NDIS goals and support plans
• Assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence and choice
• Supporting community participation through social and recreational activities
• Building positive relationships with participants, their families and support networks
• Implementing behaviour support strategies where required
• Maintaining accurate documentation to ensure quality care and compliance

We're looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate, patient and committed to person-centred care
• A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others

Essential requirements:

• Previous disability support experience is highly regarded
• Knowledge of the NDIS is desirable
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent preferred but not essential
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Current Driver's Licence
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Yellow Card
• Current Working with Children Check Blue Card
