Vincent Court aged care home is seeking a Support Services Worker to provide cleaning, laundry and kitchen tasks. Working part-time, you will support residents, families and staff while helping maintain a warm, home-like environment.

You will ensure safety, hygiene and quality standards, assist with meals, laundry and cleaning, and stay compliant with NDIs checks; prior aged care experience is valued though not essential.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential.
• Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Check (or willing to obtain).

• Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks.
• Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties.
• Distribution of meals to residents and dining room services.

• Completing required documentation and reporting.
• Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished.
• Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labeling.

Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as catering, cleaning and laundry services. Working Part-Time, you will build strong relationships with our residents, families and Care Staff contributing the optimisation of resident choice and essentially creating a strong sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our resident's quality of life.
