Job summary

St Vincent's Care Services Mitchelton is seeking a Hotel Services Assistant (Cleaner and Laundry) to join a dedicated team delivering compassionate care to residents. You will contribute to a welcoming, safe environment through cleaning, laundry and support tasks across the facility housed in a former monastery with 176 beds.

Flexible casual shifts Monday to Sunday will suit your schedule, and prior experience in aged care or hospital settings will be valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Willingness to obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexible with casual shifts Mon–Sun.

About the Opportunity

As a Hotel Services Assistant (Cleaner and Laundry), you'll be part of an experienced and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Mitchelton. Historically known as St Joseph's Villa, Madonna Villa and Oxford Park, our service is a carefully restored former monastery with 176-beds and located less than 10kms from the Brisbane CBD.

Things that work for us

• Flexible casual shifts available Monday to Sunday. Depending on operational needs, shifts typically start between 6:00am - 7:30am and finish between 1:30pm - 3:00pm
• Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment providing services that support high-quality cleaning outcomes for residents, visitors and staff of the facility, including laundry and food services
• High level of customer service skills
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Willingness to obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (essential)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or willingness to obtain one (essential)
