Qualifications

• Experience in a housekeeping services environment.
• Desirable laundry experience in a health care setting.
• Chemical handling knowledge and safe practices.
• Ability to identify unserviceable or defective cleaning equipment.
• Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail with high customer service standards.
• Understanding of aged care, resident rights and care plans.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) required.

Responsibilities

• As a Hotel Services Assistant you will help create a welcoming, professional and caring environment for residents.
• Support housekeeping and related care service activities in the care facility.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and well-maintained environment in accordance with policy and care plans.

Things that work for us:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping services environment

• Previous laundry work experience in a health care environment desirable

• Chemical handling experience and knowledge

• Experience in identifying unserviceable or defect cleaning equipment

• An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

• Strong attention to detail and high level of customer service skills

• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan

• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
