Job summary

Downer Group in Victoria partners with Homes Victoria and is seeking an SDP Relationship Manager to lead the commercial and operational management of Service Delivery Partners under the contract, driving value for money and reliable performance.

You will build strong supplier relationships, monitor KPIs, support governance and manage disputes across teams to deliver social housing services across Victoria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing Service Delivery Partners or subcontractors in contract-based service delivery.
• Experience in supplier relationship management with performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse pricing, performance and market data for value-for-money assessments.
• Knowledge of procurement governance, probity and compliance principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure value for money from Service Delivery Partners by maintaining competition across the SDP panel.
• Manage relationships with approved SDPs, maintaining engagement and alignment to contract expectations.
• Monitor SDP performance against KPIs, service standards and contractual obligations.
• Oversee subcontractor compliance, documentation, certifications and audit readiness.
• Handle SDP-related issues, disputes and escalations with operating and commercial teams.

We have an opportunity for a SDP Relationship Manager to join our Homes Victoria team. In this role, you will lead the commercial and operational management of Service Delivery Partners engaged under the contract. Your work will contribute directly to strong supplier relationships, value for money and reliable contract performance for Homes Victoria and the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Ensure Downer achieves value for money from Service Delivery Partners by maintaining effective competition across the SDP panel.
• Manage ongoing relationships with approved SDPs, maintaining engagement, capability and alignment to contract expectations.
• Monitor SDP performance against KPIs, service standards and contractual obligations, escalating underperformance where required.
• Support contract governance through oversight of subcontractor compliance, documentation, certifications and audit readiness.
• Manage SDP-related issues, disputes and escalations in collaboration with operational and commercial teams.

What You'll Bring

• Qualification in procurement, supply chain, commerce, business, finance or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Managing Service Delivery Partners or subcontractors in a BAU, contract-based service delivery environment.
• Ongoing panel or supplier relationship management, including performance monitoring, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse pricing, performance, and market data to support value for money assessments and recommendations.
• Working knowledge of procurement governance, probity and compliance principles in a BAU environment.
