Job summary

Arc @ UNSW is seeking a bubbly Student Support Officer to be the front face of Arc queries and assist with student life on campus. You will handle bookings, payments, and general administration for the Kensington Campus front desk, while supporting Arc Clubs and Volunteering.

The role is casual, based at UNSW Kensington Campus, offering flexible hours and induction training. You’ll engage with students daily and contribute to a positive UNSW student experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk or reception roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Comfort with handling payments and basic administrative tasks.
• Willingness to work in a student-facing environment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with queries and navigation of university services.
• Manage front desk bookings for rooms, resources, and services.
• Process payments for Arc initiatives including Membership, Volunteering, and Clubs.
• Handle mail and general administrative tasks and maintain records.
• Support Arc Clubs and Volunteering as needed.
