Job summary

Arc @ UNSW is seeking an entry-level Clubs Officer to help shape the student experience at UNSW Kensington Campus. You’ll support over 380 student-run clubs, coordinate events, and build relationships with the wider university population, delivering a fun, inclusive program.

You’ll join a team of staff and student workers, with flexible hours, casual pay, and opportunities to learn, grow, and network within the UNSW community.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse UNSW students.
• Experience with event planning and strong organisational skills.
• Strong customer service skills for students, clubs and stakeholders.
• Understanding of UNSW student demographics and channels to reach them.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Discord) and basic analytics.
• You must be a current UNSW student to apply.

Responsibilities

• Attend tasks and inquiries during scheduled shifts, on-site or remote.
• Assist with event management for O-Week, Launch Week, International Markets and Club Awards Dinner.
• Help run Club events such as Clubs Takeover and Games Galore; coordinate logistics.
• Organise events and maintain event-related documentation.
• Participate in training sessions on events and risk management.
• Evaluate events and contribute new ideas based on feedback.
• Respond to student inquiries and emails promptly.
• Support club administration tasks such as Clubs Reaffiliation.
