Job summary

IPD Group is seeking a proactive Sales Development professional based in Newcastle, NSW, to drive growth across Newcastle, the North Coast and surrounding NSW regions. Qualifications

• Minimum five years of business development experience in sales within the automation sector.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that generate and sustain a robust pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted sales action plans aligned with state strategy to achieve individual and team sales, margin, and contribution targets.
• Promote IPD’s full suite of solutions to end users, EPCs, and contractors, while deepening understanding of market dynamics and sales channels.
• Maintain strong technical and product knowledge, using CRM tools to effectively qualify, manage, and close opportunities.
• Collaborate with local and national teams to optimise resources and actively contribute to sales and pipeline review meetings.
• Represent IPD at industry events, building networks and gathering market insights, while ensuring all activities are conducted safely and professionally.
