Job summary

IPD Group is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across multiple channels in our Campbelltown office. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, and expand our market presence while collaborating with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in the electrical industry, experience with HV/LV services, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Travel to customer sites is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in the electrical industry.
• Holding an Electrical Trade Certificate, Electrical Engineering qualification, or equivalent.
• Experience selling HV & LV electrical services is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to customer sites.
• Interest in electrification of commercial fleets and net-zero initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales, market share, and build a strong pipeline across channels.
• Spend 60% of time in the field building customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to execute sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM with opportunities and statuses.
• Work with Service teams to conduct joint site visits and support customers.
