Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Planning and Performance Analyst to join the Operational Planning and Performance team. You will conduct research, analyse performance and trends, and develop evidence-based recommendations to enable strategic planning and service improvements.

The role focuses on mapping and improving processes, enabling efficient customer outcomes, and translating business needs into digital/tech requirements. Collaboration across delivery and technology teams will be essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
• Demonstrated process mapping and business improvement capability.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, data analysis and modelling to support strategic planning and service improvements.
• Analyse operational performance, customer trends, industry developments and risks.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations for operational decision-making.
• Map and improve business processes for efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into requirements for digital/tech solutions.
• Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments and feasibility studies.
• Support transformation projects from planning to benefits realization.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
