Job summary

Independent Energy is seeking a Major Accounts Manager to own and grow a portfolio of large commercial and industrial clients across Australia. You will protect relationships, drive renewals, manage pricing reviews and identify new service opportunities.

You will coordinate with retailers and DNSPs, ensuring timely project communication and top-tier service. A consultative, proactive approach and strong stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management with commercial/industrial clients.
• Proven track record of retaining and growing high-value accounts.
• Experience managing contract renewals and negotiating with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for a portfolio of major Australian accounts.
• Build trusted long-term relationships with client stakeholders.
