Job summary

National Workforce is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager/BDM for Western Sydney, NSW. The role focuses on growing Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Transport, and Supply Chain business under the Head of Business Development.

You will own budgets and targets while promoting end-to-end Supply Chain solutions, collaborating with BD teammates to win new clients and expand relationships with existing customers.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in Contract Logistics/Supply Chain & Logistics/Transport/Warehousing.
• Proven track record in building professional customer relationships and business opportunities from new and existing customers.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including presenting to customers and industry professionals.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate successful business outcomes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport businesses for credibility.
• Proven ability to build rapport and promote professional working relationships with clients/stakeholders.
• Strong time management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential new clients and cold call within the market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging professional networks; identify decision makers.
• Perform market research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and internal stakeholders.
• Plan approaches and pitches in collaboration with the BD team members.
• Collaborate on pricing solutions and services offered to customers.
• Develop proposals addressing client needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Contribute to pricing the solutions/services offered to clients.
• Identify and develop the company’s differentiators using market knowledge.
