Job summary

Optus is seeking an experienced Learning & Capability Manager to shape the future capability of our workforce. You will partner with leaders across the business to diagnose capability gaps, develop strategic plans, and oversee learning initiatives that drive performance and transformation.

You will lead cross-functional programs in risk, compliance, and AI upskilling, delivering end-to-end capability solutions while leveraging data and AI tools to measure impact and continuously improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-wide learning, capability, or workforce transformation initiatives in a large regulated organisation.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills with senior leaders to translate business challenges into capability solutions.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles, capability development, behavioural change, learning evaluation, and modern learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify capability priorities and develop strategic roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of capability initiatives from needs analysis to implementation and measurement.
• Manage capability portfolios across multiple business areas, prioritising investments and external partnerships.
• Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve learning effectiveness and measure outcomes.
