Job summary

Optus, a leading Australian telecommunications company, seeks a Learning & Capability Manager to shape workforce capability and deliver impactful learning solutions. You will diagnose gaps, design strategic capability plans, and oversee delivery that drives performance and transformation.

You will partner with senior leaders to embed capability priorities, manage end-to-end programs, and utilise data-driven insights to continuously improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-wide learning, capability, or workforce transformation initiatives in a large, regulated organisation.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement with senior leaders to translate challenges into capability solutions.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles, capability development, behavioural change and learning evaluation.
• Strong project management and analytical skills with multiple priorities, vendors, budgets and data-driven impact.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to identify capability priorities and develop strategic roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of capability initiatives from needs analysis to implementation and measurement.
• Manage capability portfolios across business areas, prioritising investments and external partners.
• Leverage data, analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve learning effectiveness and outcomes.
