Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Flame and Gas Business Development Manager to drive growth across Australia and New Zealand through solution selling and partner development. You will engage end users, EPCs, consultants, system integrators, and distributors to identify opportunities and deliver tailored Flame and Gas solutions.

Based in Australia, you will travel across Australia and New Zealand, lead strategic pursuits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, technical sales, account management in industrial automation or related tech environments.
• Strong ability to manage complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven track record in developing and supporting channel partners and indirect sales networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with priority end users, EPCs, consultants, system integrators, and channel partners across Australia and New Zealand.
• Engage customers early to understand operational challenges, technical requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to design and position Flame and Gas solutions.
• Lead strategic pursuits, customer presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations for key opportunities.
• Own and execute the ANZ channel partner growth strategy, including joint business planning and partner development.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through Emerson CRM tools.
