Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking a Communications Lead to own the Unite Transformation capability team communications and marketing strategy and execution. You will develop and own the brand, audience segmentation, channel strategy and editorial calendar, and create executive messages, leader packs, and campaign content.

You will coordinate with Unite Corporate Affairs teams to ensure timely, aligned communications across the business.

Qualifications

• Senior communications and marketing leadership experience in a complex organisation.
• Proven executive writing, storytelling and audience/channel capability.
• Experience managing approvals across Corporate Affairs and business teams.
• Ability to use insight, digital channels and AI tools responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain communications and marketing strategy for Unite Transformation.
• Own brand, value proposition, message architecture and visual expression.
• Develop audience segmentation, channel strategy, editorial calendar and roadmap.
• Create executive messages, leader packs, participant communications, campaign content.
• Lead launch and ongoing marketing activity for priority experiences, communities and opportunities.
• Coordinate content, approvals, channels and timing with Corporate Affairs teams.
