Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Communications Lead to own the Unite Transformation capability team communications and the marketing strategy, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement across channels. You will collaborate with UNITE Corporate Affairs to shape messages, campaigns and executive communications.

This role requires senior leadership in communications, strong storytelling, and the ability to align strategy with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Senior communications and marketing leadership experience in a complex organisation.
• Strong executive writing, storytelling, audience and channel capability.
• Experience managing approvals across Corporate Affairs and business teams.
• Ability to use insight, digital channels and AI tools responsibly to improve quality and speed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Unite Transformation capability team communications and marketing strategy.
• Own the Unite Transformation capability team brand, value proposition, message architecture, visual expression and brand consistency within enterprise standards.
• Develop audience segmentation, channel strategy, editorial calendar and campaign roadmap.
• Create executive messages, leader packs, participant communications, campaign content, stories and event collateral.
• Lead launch and ongoing marketing activity for priority experiences, communities and opportunities.
• Coordinate content, approvals, channels and timing with relevant UNITE Corporate Affairs teams.
