Job summary

YES Medical is seeking a Business Development Manager (NSW) to drive growth for iTBD services within the ANZ region. This remote role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing new business with pharmaceutical and biotech clients across Oceania, APAC and North America.

You will manage a BD strategy, coordinate with marketing, operations and finance teams, and travel as needed to meet targets, all while reporting to the National Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business, or related field.
• Masters/MBA considered a plus; advanced degree is desirable.
• Proven 4+ years in BD or sales within CRO or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and clinical research process familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive BD strategy with CRO leadership.
• Identify new opportunities and partnerships with pharma/biotech.
• Collaborate with Revenue Ops to drive BD activities.
• Attend conferences and events across Oceania, APAC, and North America for leads.
• Build relationships with decision-makers to promote services and capabilities.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align proposals with needs.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and sales targets; monitor progress.
• Keep up with industry trends and regulatory changes.
