Job summary

Yes Medical Group is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth across Australia, including NSW/remote work. You will lead prospecting, lead management, onboarding and account management while collaborating with marketing, supply chain and sales support.

The role requires 4+ years in BD or sales in a CRO context, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel. You will report to the National Sales Manager and help expand our client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences, business, or related field; an advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is a plus.
• 4+ years in business development or sales in a CRO organisation.
• In-depth knowledge of the clinical research process, including regulatory guidelines and best practices.
• Strong network within pharmaceutical/biotech sectors with ability to convert leads into partnerships.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue growth targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
• Work closely with Revenue Operations to drive BD activities.
• Attend conferences and events across Oceania, APAC and North America to build client leads.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and negotiations to close deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with capabilities and client needs.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and sales targets.
