Job summary

Vanderlande in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Sales Consultant ANZ to drive pre-contract sales across the ANZ region. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Data analysis skills are preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in automated sorter systems for express parcels or distribution centers.
• Analytical ability to structure and solve logistics problems.
• Strong communication with customers and internal colleagues.
• Fluent in both written and oral English.
• Entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities

• Leads regional concept stage and directs the concept and sales project team with key disciplines.
• Provides functional leadership to a bid team with the Business Development Manager.
• Owns solution quality and cost, and manages margins on multi-million EUR projects.
• Convince stakeholders by considering multiple viewpoints to select a path forward.
• Acts as a brainstorming partner for sales strategy and customer concepts.
• Identifies risks and ensures they are covered.
• Monitors ongoing projects and business cases; implements process improvements.
• Plays an advisory role at the concept stage; works across disciplines.
• Builds and sustains relationships with decision-makers at tactical/strategic levels.
• Understands cost calculations and overall project costs.
