Job summary

The role targets packaging and industrial sectors, develops sector plans, coaches colleagues, and uses CRM and AI tools to sharpen prospecting, forecasting, and conversions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B new business development.
• Experience selling products in packaging/industrial sectors.
• Experience coaching or leading sales teams.
• Strong CRM usage for pipeline forecasting.
• Proactive, energetic and resilient mindset.
• Strong negotiation and commercial awareness.
• Interest in using AI for prospecting and sales.

Responsibilities

• Deliver revenue and gross profit targets for new business.
• Develop sector plans to identify high-potential customers and markets.
• Generate opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial contact to onboarding.
• Coach colleagues on prospecting activity, opportunity management, and conversion.
• Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing & operations to maximise opportunities.
• Build relationships with purchasing, operations, and commercial decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer acquisition strategies, and data quality.
