Job summary

Queensland Rail is offering a permanent full-time role for an Assistant Station Master (1st Class) at Northgate. Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of workplace productivity and WHS legislation and Queensland Rail Policies and Station operations.
• High level of skill in the provision of customer service to both internal and external customers.
• High level of skill in coaching, mentoring and leading people with a focus on customer service in a team environment.
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to make substantial decisions within Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high professional standard in customer service that exceeds our customers' expectations and encourages their use of Queensland Rail services.
• Provide staff with leadership, coaching and support to foster a positive work attitude, teamwork, and commitment to superior customer service.
• Ensure station operations are efficient and compliant with Queensland Rail regulations, policies and procedures.
