Johns Lyng Strata, a specialist strata services provider, seeks a State Manager to lead Doncaster-based construction operations and drive regional expansion. You will own strategic assessment, establish regional units, and liaise with insurers to grow the business.

The role requires a strong construction background, a culture-first leadership approach, and a proven track record of delivering safe, compliant, high-quality operations.

Qualifications

• Construction leadership experience in building or construction operations.
• Experience scaling a regional operation or business unit.
• P&L management exposure and budgeting experience.
• Collaborative, relationship-driven management style with a focus on culture.
• Background in insurance building industry is highly desirable.
• Australian Driver's License and construction White Card are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Grow profile with major insurers and develop lucrative new relationships.
• Lead strategic assessment and setup of new regional business units.
• Contribute to the national strategy as part of the executive leadership team.
• Foster a safety-first, quality-driven culture within operations.
• Coordinate with centralized Shared Services to deliver critical business requirements.
