Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to bridge design intent and production execution across multiple sites. You will serve as the primary design engineering contact on the production floor, driving systemic improvements and coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on production floor experience in engineering capacity.
• Strong MRB/nonconformance management and engineering disposition experience.
• Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Familiarity with GD&T and AS mechanical drawing standards (AS1100, Y14.5).
• Experience with multi-site manufacturing operations and PLM tooling.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary design engineering contact on the production floor for assigned programs and product lines.
• Triage MRB actions and drive resolution timelines to minimize production hold time.
• Resolve production blockers and design ambiguities with engineering judgment.
• Provide rapid engineering support for nonconformance resolution and repair dispositions.
• Identify systemic design issues and propose corrective actions with data backing.
• Perform mechanical analyses and use 3D CAD tools to support MRB dispositions and drawings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on work instructions, tooling validation, and FAI activities.
• Develop scalable repair manuals and engineering disposition guides for production autonomy.
