Anduril Industries in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Staff Product Engineer to bridge design intent and production execution on the factory floor, embedded within the Global Head of Production organization. This senior IC role requires deep technical judgement, autonomous operation, and credibility to influence both design engineers and production leadership across multiple sites.
The Staff Product Engineer will drive systemic improvements, develop scalable processes and tooling, and own day-to-day
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The Staff Product Engineer serves as the primary design engineering presence on the production floor, bridging the gap between design intent and production execution. Embedded within the Global Head of Production organization with a dotted-line relationship to Platform and Payload Engineering Teams, this role owns the day-to-day engineering interface between design engineering teams and manufacturing operations across multiple production sites.
This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep technical judgement, the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced production environment, and the credibility to influence both design engineers and production leadership. The Staff Product Engineer is expected to drive systemic improvements - not just resolve individual issues - and to develop process and tooling solutions that scale across product versions, variations, and manufacturing sites.
