Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Staff Mechanical Product Engineer (Production) to lead the production floor design engineering interface, bridging design intent with manufacturing execution across multiple sites. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; 10+ years in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Familiarity with GDandT and engineering drawings for production interpretation.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary design engineering contact on the production floor for assigned programs and product lines.
• Triage MRB actions daily; drive resolution timelines to minimize production holds.
• Resolve production process blockers and drawing interpretation issues with engineering judgement.
• Provide rapid engineering support to Production, Quality, and Test teams for nonconformances and repair dispositions.
• Escalate systemic design issues to core Design Engineering with data and recommended actions.
• Perform mechanical analyses (stress, fatigue, thermal, tolerance) to support MRB dispositions.
• Evaluate proposed changes using 3D CAD models and generate or revise drawings.
• Apply materials and manufacturing process knowledge to assess nonconformances and repair methods.
